Dear participants of the Global Classroom,
First of all we would like to thank you for your great contributions that you have posted in the various forums of the G20 Global Classroom within the G20 Finance Track. Your maps, mind maps, logos, videos etc. are truly inspiring. We are very much looking forward to your upcoming contributions. Way to go!
We would also like to welcome all new classes that have recently joined us in the Global Classroom. More than 500 students from all over the world are now actively participating and we are looking forward to working with you. In this context, we would like to encourage you to use the many opportunities available to get in touch and exchange with participants from other classes and other countries so that your Global Classroom experience turns out to be truly international.
Please note, that we have uploaded the study materials and exercises for Modules 4 and 5. The modules focus on the topics of Global Challenges and Digitalisation and offer you input and information as well as opportunities to apply what you have learned so far. Also, they allow you to share your ideas and solutions with the other participants of the Global Classroom.
Finally, it is a great pleasure for us to announce that the Governor of the German Central Bank (Deutsche Bundesbank), Jens Weidmann, contributed to the Global Classroom by answering questions to two Frankfurt based school students. The video of the interview is now available on the German Federal Finance Ministry’s dedicated G20 Global Classroom website, which can be accessed here:
or here
Of course, it can also be accessed via website of the Deutsche Bundesbank:
We hope that you will enjoy working with new materials and wish you a great weekend!
